Touched some untapped creativity deep inside – A few months before working with Jayne, my mum had died, and immediately before that I had taken voluntary early retirement from my job in the Civil Service. I had subsequently embarked on a journey of self-discovery to find a sense of purpose. As part of this exploration, I felt drawn to the course that Jayne was offering.

Jayne introduced me to various creative exercises, including poetry.  At first I was not really interested in poetry at all!  I had studied some poets as part of my “O” and “A” levels, but did not find that poetry had resonated particularly, and I had only written a small numbers of poems myself. I actually felt apprehensive at the idea of writing poetry.  Yet, once I tried it I found that writing the poetry sparked an almost strange, emotional connection.  It seemed to touch some “untapped” creativity buried deep inside. I enjoyed writing the poems as a succinct way of expressing my feelings.

It was the start of a much more creative phase in my life.  I became more open to exploring and expressing my creativity.  A few months later, I found that my writing naturally started to flow in rhyme!   I believe that due to writing and listening to others’ poetry on Jayne’s course, I was more confident about writing and sharing the poems I subsequently wrote.

I started writing poetry to capture the essence of a number of events I attended with a few poems being specially commissioned.  I also included some of my poems in an anthology of stories and poems that I self published this year, called “Believe! The Gift of Inspiration for Female Entrepreneurs”. I intend to continue to include poetry in future writing projects.  I also went on to train as a Laughter Yoga leader, after exploring the healing power of laughter on Jayne’s course!

I found Jayne’s course to be a revelation.  It opened my eyes to the sense of spiritual connection and healing power that can result from many creative activities such as working with objects, mask making, art and poetry. These were extremely powerful in enabling me to express myself and to tap into underlying emotions and to explore my hidden feelings.

I highly recommend Jayne’s work.  She has a wide range of knowledge and combines a fascinating array of different spiritual, healing and creative techniques that are often able to touch deep-seated issues and emotions; in a supportive and non-threatening way.

If with objects, paint and masks you wish to play,

Or you have a desire to cut away

Cords that bind you to sorry, stuck emotions,

Jayne will supply not pills and potions,

Rather a vision board; spiritual and creative tools

To help you fly free from old, conformist rules

That no longer serve you…

Transformed, she will send you away with a healing smile

And an array of magical, mystical methods, so worthwhile!
