First of all you should know that before I began any training to be a life coach I had already worked with hundreds of men, women and children all over the world as a Martial Arts Instructor.  I am a Karate and Taekwondo Black Belt with over 20 years training experience.  The reason I am telling you this, is that while teaching people martial arts I was essentially teaching them how to connect to their inner power and facilitating a process of discovery of self in relation to other and the environment.

This is something I have been assisting people with now for over 15 years.

Through martial arts I continue to teach people the intrinsic link between our external and internal worlds.  Showing people how to ground themselves and turn their focus inwards, how to find inner peace as well as power, and radiate both outward to positively impact their life experiences.

When I started training as a coach I blended elements from my martial arts training with techniques from my coaching toolbox and noticed how brilliantly they worked together.

This was something I did intuitively, and as such, became curious about developing my ability to work with intuition, energy and also the arts, so that I could introduce them also to the mix.

I studied a year long Advanced Diploma course in Integrative Art Therapy, gaining Masters Level accreditation for my studies from the London Metropolitan University.

Why Art?  Because it enables truly incredible soul level communication via image, movement, dialogue and metaphor.

During my Integrative Art Psychotherapy training I learnt how to work with imagery and the arts in a dialogic relationship:

But, it’s not just using the arts in coaching that has such an effect, it’s the addition of your innate intuitive abilities as well.

You are incredibly intuitive.

Perhaps you already know this and use your intuition frequently with your clients?  Or maybe you have hunches sometimes, which you follow from time to time.

Everyone is intuitive and can access intuitive guidance at any time, in any place, with anyone.

The level at which you are able to do this depends on three things:

1. Being open and receptive
2. Your willingness to trust what you receive (or intuit)
3. Practice at sharing your intuition with your clients (which further develops your confidence and competence)

Your intuition is like a muscle.  The more you use it, the more developed it gets.

Since completing intensive training and qualifications as an Angel Practitioner, Master Level Angel Practitioner and Angel Practitioner Teacher Trainer I have been able to develop my intuitive abilities to a high level and teach others how to do the same.

This means that in coaching sessions I am able to offer a further dimension to my work.
