Meditation

Busy, busy, busy? Always something to do, somewhere to be, someone to see?

Did you know that by learning to stop and switch off, both mentally and physically and take a break from the mental chatter now and then, you can actually be more productive? And no, watching TV does not count!

Meditation can help you listen to, rather than override messages from your body and soul – your inner guidance system. Too often we ignore what our body and soul is trying to tell us. By cracking open a can of Redbull and downing another cup of coffee to push through the ‘tiredness’ or popping a pill to pretend the headache isn’t really there, you don’t hear what it is you really need.

By meditation just for 5-10 minutes every morning when you wake up, you can start your day feeling more energized, focused, clear and confident about the day ahead. A short mediation each night before you sleep can help you take stock on how you’re feeling and let go of anything worrying you, so that you can replenish your body and mind, waking up the next day feeling refreshed.

Meditation is a holistic discipline that involves quietening the ‘thinking’ mind in order to reach a deeper state of mental relaxation and awareness. There are many different meditative practices encompassing wide ranging spiritual and psychophysical techniques. The type of meditation I teach is not attached to any specific discipline or doctrine. It is non-denominational and does not require any special physical postures.

I have taken a variety of teachings I have received from Martial Arts, my training as an Angel Therapy Practitioner, courses in Integrative Arts Therapy, Yoga lessons and Life Coaching – blending them together to form a simple, yet powerful system for gently entering a state of inner peacefulness, which can be practiced at any time, anywhere.

I know it can seem daunting and be difficult sometimes starting a mediation practice for the first time – so I have produced a series of meditations to help you let go of worries and concerns, connect with your power, develop more self awareness and gain more confidence and clarity. I also have some angelic meditations coming soon, to help you connect with your Guardian Angel and some of the amazing Archangels who want to help you in all areas of your life.
